"All your children will be taught by the Lord,
and great will be their peace."
— Isaiah 54:13
We know that little ones sometimes just need a little more room. St. John's Kids Club Wiggle Room is a dedicated space for families with children of all ages — so no one has to miss a moment of worship.
Comfortable seating — rock with your little one in a rocking chair while still hearing the full service.
Quiet Sacks — grab a bag of quiet activities to take back to your pew and keep little hands busy.
Stay and play — or let them roam freely in the Wiggle Room space throughout the service.
Open to all ages — this space welcomes families with children of any age, any Sunday.
From baptism through 6th grade, St. John's nurtures faith at every step of a child's early journey with God.
"Whoever welcomes a child in My name, welcomes Me." — Luke 9:46–48
Baptisms at St. John's are personal and family-centered. Families meet with Pastor Liz to discuss your desires and explore the meaning of Baptism, then schedule the ceremony during a worship service or as a private service.

"Parents have the primary responsibility for teaching their children godly wisdom." — Proverbs 1:8–9
Parents of a newly baptized infant receive faith-nurturing pamphlets by mail for the first three years of their child's life — practical, encouraging materials to help you keep your promise to raise your child in God's word.
"We are all God's family! All are welcome!"
On the first Sunday of each month, the whole congregation gathers for a pot-luck breakfast and learns the day's lesson together as one family. Bring your favorite breakfast dish and come ready to connect across generations.
"Start children off on the way they should go and even when they are old they will not turn from it." — Proverbs 22:6
Children explore the same Scripture lectionary as the main service through a lively mix of song, games, crafts, and Bible readings — in both whole-group and age-level classroom settings.
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers." — Acts 2:42
Fourth graders prepare for their First Communion in spring classes. The milestone is celebrated at the Maundy Thursday Holy Week service at 7:00 PM — a deeply meaningful moment for the whole family.

Confirmation is one of the most formative experiences of a young Lutheran's life — a two-year journey through Scripture, catechism, and faith that prepares 7th and 8th graders to affirm their baptismal covenant before the congregation.

A welcoming mid-week gathering open to all adults — members and visitors alike. Come as you are, bring your questions, and grow in faith alongside a warm community of fellow learners.
Christian education at St. John's doesn't stop at confirmation. Our Wednesday morning Bible study keeps the whole congregation — women, men, and all adults — growing in God's word throughout the week.
The study is informal, conversational, and rooted in the belief that every question is worth asking. No prior biblical knowledge is required — just an open heart.
"Whatever you have learned or received or heard from Me, or seen in Me — put into practice. And the God of peace will be with you." — Philippians 4:9
Whether you're enrolling a child in Sunday School, asking about Confirmation, or curious about Adult Bible Study — reach out to Pastor Liz or our church office. We're here to help.
